Chandigarh, Aug 5 : The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) suffered another jolt when two more of its legislators left the party and joined the ruling BJP in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and party state president Subhash Barala here on Monday.
Independent MLA from Safidon Jasbir Deswal also joined the saffron party ahead of Haryana Assembly elections.Rania legislator Ram Chander Kamboj and Firozpur Jhirka MLA Naseem Ahmed joined the BJP. Kamboj had recently resigned from the INLD while Deswal has been supporting the ruling party.
Mr Barala claimed that two INLD MLAs and an independent legislator have joined the ruling party 'uncondtionally'. Recently, Ratia legislator Ravinder Baliala had ditched the INLD and joined the BJP along with former minister Jagdish Yadav.
Several INLD MLAs had left the party and joined the ruling BJP after a feud in the Chautala family. (UNI)
