Chandigarh, Apr 23 : Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Rajeev Ranjan on Tuesday urged the people to freely use their franchise in the Lok Sabha elections in the state to be held on May 12 for strengthening democracy and said, if voters have any complaint related to the election, they could directly send it to Commission through five mediums.
Giving this information, the CEO said that the complaints could be sent on toll free number 1950, Voter Helpline mobile app, on cVIGIL, on Commissions’ website www.secharyana.gov.in and on the mobile numbers of General Observers sent on election duty by the Election Commission of India. He said that cVIGIL is the most popular medium.
On which, within 20 minutes after registering the complaint, the concerned team would reach the location and make efforts to resolve the complaint within 100 minutes. (UNI)
