Ahmedabad, Apr 27: Congress MLA in Gujarat, Imran Khedawala, who was admitted to a hospital here after he tested positive for Coronavirus infection two weeks ago, was discharged on Monday.
Khedawala, MLA from Muslim-dominated Jamalpur Khadia constituency of Ahmedabad city, was also in controversy due to his meeting with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on April 14, the same day, but before his report showed him corona positive. Rupani had to go for self-isolation at his official residence in capital Gandhingar due to this meeting.
Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi today said Khedawala had been admitted to the SVP Hospital here since April 14. After two consecutive negative tests, he was discharged from the hospital today. Khedawala later told newsmen that he was ready to donate his blood for plasma therapy treatment of the needy patients. (UNI)
