Ahmedabad, Feb 29 : Two pigeons entered inside a GoAir flight at Ahmedabad airport that was while passengers were on board.

The video of the pigeons inside the flight had gone viral over social media. According to a statement issued here on Saturday, the GoAir flight G8 702 flight crew immediately got the birds shooed away outside and the flight took off as per its scheduled time of 5pm.

'GoAir regrets any inconvenience caused to its passengers and requests the airport authorities to get rid of this menace,' the statement further said. Notably, On February 18, a Bengaluru-bound flight of private airliner GoAir from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad with 180 people on board was bird-hit and sustained damage in its engine during takeoff.

That had also caused a minor fire in its right engine. The fire fighters of the Airport quickly reached the aircraft and doused the fire. The aircraft was towed away from the runway and all the passengers were deplaned safely. The engineers inspected the aircraft and the flight was rescheduled. (UNI)
