Gandhinagar, Feb 25 : Gujarat DyCM-cum-Finance Minister Nitin Patel said on Tuesday that he would table the Budget for 2020-21 in the Assembly on Wednesday, the first day of the budget session. He added that he would table a people-oriented and useful-for-all kind of budget.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani also said that his government has kept in mind the welfare of all the sections of the society in the budget. It would be the budget for the all round development of the state. It would be the eighth Budget to be tabled by Patel.
Governor of Karnataka and former state Finance Minister Vajubhai Vala presented the state Budget 18 times. The budget session was to be held from February 24 but it was postponed by two days in the wake of the visit of US president Donald Trump. (UNI)
