According to Deputy SP D V Basiya, the jail break took place between 1am and 1.30 am, when the four under-trials, who were lodged in the same cell of the sub-jail in Limbadi town of the district, cut open the lock of their cell door and then later jumped over the outer wall and made good their escape under the cover of darkness.
