Bhuj, Oct 5 : The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday recovered two abandoned Pakistani fishing boats close to Laxman point in marshy creek area near Pakistan border in Kutch district of Gujarat.
A BSF officer today said a patrol team of the force recovered the two boats. There was nothing suspicious in them and only some fishing equipment and net were recovered from these small motor fitted boats, he said.
Pakistani fishermen might be entered secretly in the seafood and prawn-rich marshy area in the hope of a big catch, he added.
"The occupants of the boat, like many other occasions, must have fled and returned to the nearby Pakistani territory leaving behind the boats after getting the inkling of BSF patrol boats. As a precautionary measure search was conducted in the adjoining areas," he said.(UNI)
