Panaji, May 4: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday said that more than 3000 Goans who are out of state have applied for return to home. At a press conference in the city, he after their return to the state, the Goans would be quarantined for a day or two and would be sent to home after conduct of COVID-19 test.
Then they would be quarantined at home for 14 days, he said. The Chief Minister said there were 7100 migrant labourers who had applied with the local bodies for returning home. However, the Chief Minister expressed apprehensive that there could be shortage of labourers after their exodus. The Chief Minister also claimed that there were many people outside the state who wish to come to Goa after its classification under green zone. (UNI)
