Panaji, May 1: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has asked those stranded in Goa and are willing to go out of Goa to apply online or visit Collector's office. He also said directions have been given to District Collectors to expedite issuing of travel permits. "All persons stranded in Goa, who intend to travel to their home states, can apply online on http://goaonline.gov.in or visit Collectors office to get instant approval to travel out of Goa," he said in a tweet.
"Necessary directions have been issued to District Collectors to expedite the issuing of travel permits," he said in another tweet. On Thursday Ports Minister Michael Lobo had said that process for sending stranded workers back their home has started and the state's panchayats and municipal bodies had been instructed to create a database of stranded workers who were keen on going back home.
