Panaji, Mar 26 : Three people have tested positive for Covid 19 in Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said.
In a tweet, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said," I have been informed by the state DHS (Director Health Services) that 3 individuals have been tested positive for #COVID19 in Goa. We are providing the best healthcare facility to the diagnosed patients." "Their condition is stable at present. We have also traced their contacts and are quarantining them," he said. Meanwhile, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said all the guidelines were being followed in view of the positive coronavirus cases.
" In view of the three positive #coronavirus cases in the state of Goa, we are following all the guidelines laid by the central government and taking all the precautions with the support of the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant," he said in a statement. "Our testing facility will be up and running in the next 2 days. Our team of doctors are doing their best to make sure we contain the spread of virus in the state of Goa," he added. These are the first cases of coronavirus in the coastal state after its outbreak. (UNI)
