Panaji, Mar 19 : Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Thursday conducted inspection of Goa Airport in South Goa.
In a tweet, Mr Rane said," In the backdrop of the spread of coronavirus, I conducted a thorough inspection at @aaigoaairport at 2 AM along with Airport Director - Gagan Malik, Director, DHS - Dr. D'sa, Goa Medical College Dean - Dr. S. M. Bandekar.
It was gratifying to see the airport authorities adhering to all the protocols and measures suggested by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Thankful to the entire staff at the Airport for working round the clock to ensure coronavirus does not affect people on a mass level. Also thanking Airport Director, Secretary Health, Director DHS & Dean GMC for their extensive support in ensuring strict measures are in force."
Not a single positive case of coronavirus has been detected in the coastal state till date. (UNI)
