Panaji, Feb 14 : Goa tourism director Menino D’ Souza inaugurated India Travel Mart (ITM), a prominent International Travel and Tourism Exhibition, in the city on Friday. Sunayana Sharma, Deputy Director Himachal Pradesh Tourism and other delegates from state tourism boards, travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, among others, were present on the occasion.
The Event is supported by Goa Tourism, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) along with India Tourism, Karnataka Tourism, Himachal Pradesh Tourism, Jharkhand Tourism, Spiceland Holidays, Veena World, Oxygen Resorts-Kerala, The Fern Residency- Miramar, NanuHotels-Resorts-Spa- Goa, Country Inn, Trade Wings Institute of Management, Travel Mail and other participants will showcase their products.
National Trade Associations like Indian Association of Tour Organizers (IATO), Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) are actively supporting the event.
“We feel encouraged with the massive response from the buyers and high end customers to our exhibition and large scale inquiries were from the genuine buyers, corporate and business groups at several stalls which is really the good sign for the travel and tourism sector," Ajay Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, ICM Group, said.
