Panaji, Jul 17 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Glenn Ticlo on Wednesday questioned Goa Government's decision to pay around Rs three crore to a leading global consultancy firm for drafting tourism master plan which he alleged was a copy paste job.
Speaking during Question Hour, the Aldona MLA said, "Is the master plan a replica of some other countries which has been put here. Will it match (the needs of Goa). I don't think so. Secondly a lot of money has already been paid. Almost Rs three crore has been paid to KPMG. But if you look at the master plan it looked like copy paste."
The Legislator said all the stakeholders should be taken into confidence while preparing any plan. (UNI)
