Panaji, Feb 25 : Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar continued to be stable and doctors are happy with his progress, Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said.
In a tweet, the CMO said,'Dr Pramod Garg from AIIMS, who is heading the treatment of Hon'ble Chief Minister @manoharparrikar has conducted a thorough check up of the CM. The doctors are happy with his progress and the Chief Minister continues to be stable.'
The Chief Minister was admitted to Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital on Sunday. Various leaders visited GMC to inquire about health of the former defence minister. Former Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant, former MLA Siddharat Kuncolienkar, were among others who visited the hospital.
Meanwhile, State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane ruled out shifting of the Chief Minister to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. The reports of Chief Minister being flown to Delhi for further treatment were rubbish, he said. UNI
