Thrissur: Actor Bhavana who tied the knot with her long-time beau and film producer Naveen two years ago is getting more active in Kannada films now.
Bhavana is presently in room quarantine at her home in Thrissur town, after crossing over to Kerala through Muthanga from Karnataka.
A close relative of the actor told pennews that said that she was becoming busy in the Kannada film industry and one among her latest Kannada flicks was ‘99’, a remake of hit Tamil movie ‘96’ starring Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi.
The movie ‘99’ was a runaway hit in Kannada and besides that Bhavana worked in a few other Kannada movies as well.
She acted first in a Kannada movie with Punith Rajkumar in Jackie which was a big box office hit.
“At present her focus is on Kannada movies. Only after the legal cases in Kerala get settled, she will decide on doing Malayalam movies,” the relative said.
Bhavana’s husband Praveen is a film producer and actor. He is from Andhra Pradesh and his family is settled in Bangalore.
Bhavana’s brother Jayadevan Balachandran and a cousin received her at Muthanga check post on Tuesday and her husband Naveen who took her to the check post has returned to Bangalore.
She underwent medical screening before going to room quarantine.
