Covid-19: Prabhas donates Rs 4 crore

Baahubali super star Prabhas has donated Rs 1Crore to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister's Relief Fund to fight the novel coronavirus.

Taking to Twitter, Prabhas writes: “Darling #Prabhas contributes 4 Crores to the government to fight against #coronavirus 3 crores to @PMOIndia Relief Fund & 50 lakhs each to @TelanganaCMO Relief Fund and @AndhraPradeshCM Relief Fund #StayHomeStaySafe #IndiaBattlesCoronavirus”

Earlier, Tollywood stars including Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan contributed huge amounts to the CM Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to fight Covid-19 pandemic.

The latest to join them is the Baahubali star Prabhas, who has donated Rs 1 crore to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Fans of the actor have been praising him for his philanthropic deed on social media.

Actor Nithiin was the first person from the industry to announce that he would donate Rs 10 lakh each to both governments.

Earlier today, Pawan Kalyan donated a sum of Rs 1 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Relief Fund. He also contributed Rs 50 lakh to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh government.
