Blockbuster Telugu flick, Bheeshma, is going to be remade in Hindi by Karan Johar.
It is learnt that popular Bollywood producer and director Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has bought the Hindi remake rights of Bheeshma.
Bheeshma was a runaway hit in the box office and for Tollywood star Nithiin, Bheeshma gifted a break in career Rashmika Mandanna also made a mark with the romantic comedy, helmed by Venky Kudumula and bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
Reports are also doing rounds that Ranbir Kapoor is considered to play the role of Nithiin from the original. Karan Johar is a fan of South Indian Cinema and finds inspiration from it. He is already presenting Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's upcoming untitled Telugu film, being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Karan Johar also watched Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster Bigil and praised the film on Twitter. Recently he called Atlee as a “superstar director” and said Vijay as "an absolute festive joy."
