It is learnt that the Bollywood star Alia Bhat has opted out of Rajamouli's next big movie, RRR, because of a clash of dates.
Earlier, roping in Alia Bhatt in the project, Rajamouli had announced that the actress will participate in the shooting in Hyderabad, Gujarat, and Pune earlier March. But, the shooting of the film was extended due to Covid19 fears. There were also reports that Alia Bhatt was brought to the project for a big remuneration.
Alia is already engaged in projects such as Sadak 2, Brahmastra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. So, it would be difficult for her to find out extra dates for RRR. Rajamouli is reportedly trying to get her dates for the May schedule.
Producer of the movie, DVV Danayya, in an interview had confirmed the presence of Alia Bhatt joining the sets of the film in May. Even though producers confirmed this, the rumours of Alia Bhatt opting out from the project is still strong.
With a mammoth budget of Rs 400 to 450 crore, RRR is another magnum opus of Rajamouli after Baahubali. It tells a fictional story about two revolutionary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively.
