Giving a tribute to Mithu Chakraborty, young actor Tiger Shroff danced to the remix of ‘I am a Disco Dancer’.
Sharing the dance video on Twitter, Tiger wrote: "Jhoomo aur naacho to disco dancer! Presenting I am a Disco Dancer 2.0."
The original song is from the superhit film, Disco Dancer (1982), in which yesteryear’s super hero Mithun Chakraborty played hero. The electrifying song was composed and sung by Bappi Lahiri.
The new version is sung by Benny Dayal and its music is produced by Salim – Sulaiman. Like any other remixes of this day and age, it is safe to say that it is nothing like the original. Tiger, who is among the best dancers in Bollywood, does a stellar job showing off his dancing skills. Wearing a shimmery trousers and an unbuttoned jacket showing off his eight pack abs, Tiger shows his dance moves to the tune of the foot-tapping music.
Save Mithun's hook step, Tiger is seen imitating Hrithik Roshan's step from Its Magic from Koi Mil Gaya (2003), peppered with his own style of dancing. It is a fun watch. Tiger Shroff recently attempted to recreate Abhishek Bachchan's Dus Bahane in his last release Baaghi 3, as Dus Bahane 2.0. The song was a huge hit with Tiger's fans.
Turning to critics, some fans praised the young star and wrote on Twitter: “Tiger Shroff shoots I am a Disco Dancer 2.0 in 12 hours flat, in the middle of hectic film promotions! Totally killing it. #DiscoNeverDies”
Tiger Shroff is now on cloud nine after the success of Baaghi 3 despite the closure of theatres due to coronavirus fears. Released on March 6, 2020, Baaghi 3 has minted over Rs 92 crore, which is a hit after Ajay Devgn’s ‘Tanhaji’.
