Following a string of flops, Tollywood actor Manchu Manoj was in distress and looking for a break.
The film, Aham Brahmasmi, directed by a debut director is said to be the comeback film of Manchu Manoj to shore up his sagging career. The film comes with a strong character and story line.
On Wednesday, the first look poster of the film was revealed in which Manchu Mohan is seen as a rough guy with sandalwood paste. Sharing the poster on Twitter, actor Ram Pothineni said: “Here's Off @HeroManoj1 Anna What's a Looks Like
In the poster Manoj brings out three Rasas- laughter (haasyam), anger (roudram) and tranquility (shaantham). The mystical poster looks poignant. Makers of the movie promise some goosebumps with this crime, comedy & action packed film.
Reports are that a wannabe director impressed Manchu Manoj with a punchy storyline and Srikanth N Reddy will be making his debut as a director with this flick.
Incidentally, director Krish announced last year that he will be directing a film titled Aham Brahmasmi. As there was no follow up news afterwards, it remains to be seen if the star has procured the title rights from Krish.
Meanwhile, we hear that the film will be launched on March 6 and the groundwork is happening in full swing. Reports are that Aham Brahmasmi will be released in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film is produced by Nirmala Devi Manchu and Manoj Manchu.
Manchu Manoj’s last film release was Okkadu Migaludu in 2017 was a damp squib. Manchu Manoj began his career as a child artiste and was mainly seen as the child version of his father Mohan Babu. He made his debut as a hero in 2004 with Donga Dongadi and since then has acted in a number of films.
The actor also faces another crisis in personal life as he had announced his divorce last year.
