‘Love Aaj Kal’ to hit screens on Valentine’s Day

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan –starring ‘Love Aaj Kal’, the movie revolves around love, is set to hit theatres on Valentine’s Day.

The key stars are now going through the dubbing jobs in Mumbai. Sara and Kartik Aaryan’s photographs at Juhu beach in currently trending on social media. They are currently prepping for the dubbing jobs. 'Love Aaj Kal' is directed by Imtiaz Ali. 'Love Aaj Kal' is one of Sara and Kartik's highly-anticipated films and earlier, it was also said that the duo were dating each other.

The trailer of the movie almost broke the internet.

Sharing the trailer on YouTube, makers of the ‘Love Aaj Kal’, Maddock films, gave the crux of the film like this : “The word ‘Love’ itself brings along with it a plethora of feelings and meanings, which has constantly changed over time. While the expression of love has changed over the years gone by, does the emotion still remain the same? Has anybody figured out the perfect path towards love? Love Aaj Kal is a movie that tackles this ever-changing dynamic of being in and finding love. Our protagonists, Veer and Zoe traverse this tricky path of love while trying their luck in finding the answers to these questions.”

Love Aaj Kal is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan. Apart from Sara and Kartik, the movie will also feature Randeep Hooda and newcomer Arushi Sharma in significant parts.

Earlier, the director had shared a poster of the movie which featured Sara and Kartik looking romantic and distant at the same time. It was shared with a caption that read, “Meet Veer & Zoe, captured in their element. It’s in these simple, candid moments that love plays peekaboo, right? #LoveAajKal.”

About a decade ago, Imtiaz Ali had helmed a movie which was also called Love Aaj Kal. The film featured Sara Ali Khan’s father and Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. Now, the Sara Ali Khan starrer will also narrate a love story set in two different time periods — 1990 and 2020. In the 2020 movie, Sara will be seen essaying a character called Zoe, while Kartik will play Veer in the movie.
