The title font of the much-talked Maniratnam movie, Ponniyan Selvan, has been revealed on the New Year day and both critics and fans heaped praises on the poster that captured all the magic.
Madras Talkies, the production house, took to Twitter to reveal two posters in English font. Sharing the poster online, makers of the movie, Madras Talking wrote on Twitter: ‘Are you ready to witness the beginning of the golden era on the big screen?”
One poster reveals the crew details and carries a fascinating punchline as 'Beginning of the Golden Era'. One of the interesting facts is that the poster has dropped the name of lyricist Vairamuthu after the #Metoo campaign. It is still unclear whether he's a part of Ponniyin Selvan or not. The film reveals the story of Chola Dynasty also gives key position for a majestic sword as a symbol.
The team of Ponniyin Selvan including Jayam Ravi and Karthi are camping in Thailand shooting of the film. The first schedule of Ponniyin Selvan commenced in mid-December (2019) and will go on for about 40 days.
Ponniyin Selvan boasts a star-studded cast including Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Lal, Ashwin Kakumanu and Nerkonda Paarvai actor Arjun Chidambaram. The film has music scored by AR Rahman.
