Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut has stunned everybody in the first look poster as the late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa in the upcoming biopic titled ‘Thalaivi’ for the stunning similarity between the two.

The 1.32-minute clip shared by T-Series on YouTube gives us a peek of Kangana emulating Jayalalithaa’s dance movies as seen in the 1965 film ‘Vennira Aadai’.

It is difficult to identify Kangana from the poster as the makeover has turned such a miracle. On Saturday, the makers of the film and the actress unveiled the character poster that features Kangana looking like a spitting image of the late CM.

For the character makeover, Kangana has undergone thick prosthetics, but still managing to bring through the soft Iron Lady’s soft smile while flashing her signature victory sign. Kangana, a lean actor, has wonderfully gained fat and a double-chin, a prominent sign of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.

In the first look poster, Kangana is shown as a huge cutout of Amma, as the Tamil people fondly called Jayalalitha. She is seen in a green saree, Jayalalitha’s fond colour, with a matching overcoat.

The film, Thalaivi is directed by Vijay and produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R singh. Vishal Vittal cranks camera. According to T-Series, the film is set to hit theatres on 26th June 2020.
