After made it to top in both Tamil and Telugu, Kerala-based actor Keerthy Suresh is now ready to make a wave in Bollywood with her debut outing with Ajay Devgn.

As the shooting schedule of her Hindi movie ‘Maidaan’ has been finished, the film’s release date was announced recently. It is learnt that Maidaan is set to hit theatres on November 27 next year. In the film, said to be based on football, Keerthy is paired opposite Ajay Devgn.

Maidaan, directed by Amit Sharma, is bankrolled jointly by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.

Keerthy’s hands are full. She is said to be a part of Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Keerthy is in a Malayalam magnus opus “Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham” made on a budget of Rs.100 Crore, in which she shares screen space with Mohanlal. Keerthy has also signed a deal to star in the Telugu film Rang De, in which she is paired opposite Nithin. Venky Atluri is wielding the megaphone for this venture with Naga Vamsi bankrolling it under the banner Sithara Entertainments. Besides these films, Keerthy also has a female-centric multi-lingual film tilted Penguin, which is produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films.
