Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gives her voice to Hollywood star Angelina Jolie for the movie ‘Maleficient: Mistress of Evil. The movie which is going to hit theatre on October 18 is the sequel to Angelina Jolie's much-awaited fantasy fiction 'Maleficent'.

Aishwarya has been chosen to render voice for iconic character palyed by Angelina Jolie in the Hindi version of the movie. In the promotional teaser of the film, shared by Aishwarya, who is also shown as a character, on Wednesday on social media has turned viral within an hour.

In the teaser, Aishwarya can be seen killing the Maleficent look like a pro. She looks stunning in an all-black ensemble with her hair styled in a double French roll. The teaser also features glimpses of Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning from Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil. Sharing the teaser, Aishwarya Rai captioned it: "Maleficent. Happy to be part of the Disney Family."

Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil is a sequel to 2014 film Maleficent, which featured Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple, Imelda Staunton and Sam Riley along with Angelina and Elle. The Disney film was based on the classic fairy tale The Sleeping Beauty.

The first Maleficient film, starring Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Imelda Staunton and Juno Temple hit the screens in 2014. A dark fantasy film, it told the story of the much-misunderstood fairy in the popular tale Sleeping Beauty, and portrayed her troubled relationship with princess Aurora and the king of a kingdom, that is rooted in corruption.

The sequel takes place five years after the events of the first film, when Maleficent's life is overturned when Prince Philip proposes to princess Aurora and she accepts. Philip’s mother Ingrith intends to use the wedding to create a divide between humans and fairies forever. Maleficent and Aurora find themselves on different sides of the war. Disney thinks, the Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai’s voice for the Hindi version can attracts much footfall.
