Sye Raa to hit theatres; film gave me goosebump moments, says Chiranjeevi

After spectacular Baahubali, once again Indian film fans are going to witness another magnum opus- Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, a historic film tells the story of an emperor from Rayalaseema in Andhra.

Superstar Chiranjeevi dons the role of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy who says ‘Syeraa’ will have numerous goosebump moments. He also added that Syeraa is his dream project.

Movie which is a double-multi starrer film also has 3 star heroines in this film. The country witnessed mega Pre-release events across states. In events in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra and Tamil Nadu, thousands of fans participated. Trade pundits say that SyeRaaNarasimhaReddy (All Versions) Pre-release business is approx 300 Cr including audio rights, satellite rights and digital rights, which means the film that produced with a cost of Rs.200 is already registered profit!

In Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Tamannaah shares screen space with Nayanthara for the first time! Tamannah says there is a beautiful scene that features the two of them and that she will cherish this scene always as it projects women in very strong light!

The story of the film is given in detail by Wikipedia. The story was set around 10 years prior to the India's first war of independence of 1857. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi) is an emperor from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh who lived happily with his wife Siddhamma (Nayanthara), his mother (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) and with his people. During that time, the British East India Company came to India for business but soon started to torture Indian people and loot and ship the Indian resources back to their country. When Narasimha Reddy is witnessed by their atrocities, he gets furious and leaves his throne, wife and mother and teams up emperors of other region Veera Reddy (Jagapathi Babu), Avuku Raju (Sudheep), Raja Pandi (Vijay Sethupathi) and his guru Guru Gosayi Venkanna (Amitabh Bachchan) starts a rebellion against the British East India Company.

Jaipur-based Amrapali, known for Heritage Jewellery in the country, designed all the jewellery for the film. Amrapali’s jewellery is used for Tamannah in the film. The heritage and antique look of the jewellery of Amrapali is best suited for the character. That is why we have chosen Amrapali and we are happy to have associated with them , said Ms. Sushmita.

Actress Tamannah Bhatia plays the part of Lakshmi and her jewellery has been specially designed keeping in mind the power that her character has to convey. She can be seen in a mix of jewellery with an old finish and vintage look with some two tone (Silver & gold plated) necklaces. Not to be missed is her Bold Rudraksha necklace with a memorable pendant for a stern look and also some delicate floral crystal studded necklaces and belts.
