With this veridict on Friday, Sreekumar cannot use the screenplay of 'Randamoozham' written by MT for film production.
Earlier, the Kozhikode additional munsiff court had also rejected Sreekumar's plea in the case. MT approached the court with a plea seeking his screenplay back from Sreekumar as he violated the agreement by not starting film production even after MT entrusted his screenplay two years back. Sreekumar's counsel pleaded that the court appoint a mediator to settle the issue outside court.
MT entrusted Sreekumar the screenplay based on his famous novel 'Randamoozham' four years back. According to the agreement, Sreekumar was to start production in three years. As nothing happened even after four years MT approached the court.
