Vijayawada, Jan 11 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu watched the Telugu film-- NTR: Kadhanayakudu, in multiplex theatre here on Thursday night.
The NTR: Kadhayanayuku film is biopic of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao.
N T Rama Rao’s son, and actor-turned-politician N Balakrishna, MLA, produced the NTR biopic in which he played the role of his father NTR and popular Bollywood actress Vidya Balan played the character of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam.
The Chief Minister along with Balakrishna, Director of the film Jagarlamudi Krish, Minister Kollu Ravindra and MLC Buddha Venkanna watched the film. Earlier, the Chief Minister garlanded the statue of NTR at the multiplex theatre. After watching the movie, the Chief Minister, talking to media, appreciated Balakrishna for acting as NTR perfectly. The NTR biopic is a pride to the Telugu people, he said.
Commenting his character in the NTR biopic, Mr Naidu said that his character in the film was presented in an excellent manner as the character was near to reality.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister felicitated Jagarlamudi Krish and Balakrishna at his residence. He appreciated the Director for picturing the NTR biopic wonderfully. Balakrishna was brother-in-law of Chandrababu Naidu. The second of part of NTR biopic, NTR; Mahanayakudu to be released soon. (UNI)
