Golden Globes 2019: Bohemian Rhapsody best film; Rami Malek actor

The 76th Golden Globe Awards took place Sunday night and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was chosen as the best film.

While Bohemian Rhapsody lived up to the expectations of the much awaited wins, the big surprise was Green Book, an American comedy-drama set in the 1960s, which scored three trophies including one for Mahershala Ali.

Green Book won the Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) in the function hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg at the Beverly Hilton in California.

Though’ Vice’, biopic of former US president Dick Cheney led the race with six nominations. Best Actor award went for Christian Bale for his performance in ‘Vice’.

The critically-acclaimed ‘Bradley Cooper’, Lady Gaga-starrer with five nominations also managed to bag only one award for Best Original Song.
