New Delhi, Oct 8: Reacting to allegation of sexual misconduct against director Vikas Bahl, who is helming his forthcoming film 'super 30', Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan on Monday said it's impossible for him to work with any person if he/she is guilty of grave misconduct.
Hrithik' reaction came in the wake of allegations that are put against the 'Super 30' director who has been accused of sexual misbehaviour against a former employee of his production house, Phantom Films.
Speaking on the issue, Hrithik, who is away shooting in Italy for his next, YRF's untitled film, said, 'it is impossible for me to work with any person if he/she is guilty of such grave misconduct. I am away and have access to only sporadic information. I have requested the producers of 'Super 30' to take stock of the apparent facts and take a harsh stand if need be. This is not to be hushed or brushed under the carpet. All proven offenders must be punished and all exploited people must be empowered and given strength to speak up.'
The incident happened in 2015, and the allegations came in media in 2017. However, the accusations have been revisited in 2018 with the rise of #MeToo movement on social media, and Vikas Bahl has been under the scanner once again.
Phantom Films has now been dissolved and Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane have distanced themselves from Bahl. (UNI)
