Actors Revathy, Parvathy and Padmapriya have written a letter to the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists(AMMA) asking its stand on the reinstatement of Dileep in AMMA.
The three actors wrote the letter on Tuesday on behalf of Women in Cinema Collective (WCC). The three actors had met new office bearers of AMMA led by new President Mohanlal on August 7 and discussed various issues including the taking back of Dileep into AMMA. Though WCC members were happy about the discussons, no view is taken on the important issues raised in the meeting till now by the new leadership. In their letter the actors wanted to know the response of the organization within seven days.
The key issue over which the WCC and AMMA locked horns was on Dileep's reinstatement in the organization.
Meanwhile, Dileep got permission from the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court to travel abroad. As the bail conditions restrained Dileep from leaving India without prior permission, the actor approached court. Dileep is planning to visit Qatar for three days. He had gone abroad earlier too with the permission of the court.
