New Delhi, Sep 11 : In a bid to make medical education cost effective, the Rus Education has launched scholarship schemes in name of former ministers Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj for the students who wish to pursue their career in medicine in Russia.
The Russia Culture and Education Centre have ensured that the proper care of Indian students will be taken care during their stay in their country.
“We have launched scholarship schemes in the name of former finance minister Arun Jaitley and former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj,” Rus education Director Col Pawan Kapoor said.
At the launching ceremony, Dr Wasim of Rus Education said, “We are working in an effort to accomplish the prime minister’s Ayushman Bharat vision. We are trying to create a lot of doctors so that the issues of shortage could be sorted out.”
For the Indian students, SOBRANIYE 2019 was organized here where several students were awarded with various scholarships that include APJ Abdul Kalam Azad Badhte Kadam, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Udaan scholarship, Drujba scholarship among others.(UNI)
