Hyderabad, May 28 : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be conducting Combined Graduate Level (Tier-l) Examination, 2018 in Computer Based Mode from June 4 to 12.
In Southern Region, 2,84,104 candidates have been allowed for the examination.
The examination will be held in 37 venues located at 16 Cities-- Guntur, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar in Telangana, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, a statement here said on Tuesday.
In Southern Region, the examination will be held in 3 shifts in a day on June 4, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 12.The First shift will be from 1000 hours to 1100 hours, Second shift from 1300 hours to 1400 hours and Third shift from 1600 hours to 1700 hours in all the Centres/Cities.
Facility to download e-Admission Certificates is provided in the website in such a way that candidates can download it only seven days before the date of examination. These details are also intimated to the candidates through SMS to their mobile numbers and e-mail to their mail IDs as provided by them in their online applications.
Watches, books, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pen/buttonhole/spy cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc) are strictly not allowed in the examination hall. If any such item is found in the possession of a candidate in the examination hall, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.
He/she would also be liable to be debarred from appearing in future examinations of the Commission for a period of 3-7 years. Candidates are, therefore, strictly advised not to bring prohibited items and bags into the Examination Venue.
Candidates are further requested to note that they shall not be permitted to attend the examination without e-Admission Certificate and Original Valid Identity Proof enumerated in the Instructions attached with e-Admission Certificate. All the candidates are, therefore, requested to download their e-Admission Certificate without fail.
