New Delhi, May 6 : With 99.85 pass percentage, Thiruvananthapuram topped the region-wise list for the Class 10th Board results followed by Chennai at 99 per cent and Ajmer at 95.89 per cent.
Delhi was positioned at number 9 with 80.97 per cent pass percentage. A total of 3,22,067 students appeared for class 10th Board examinations this year. Of which 2,60,789 passed the exams. The fourth and fifth positions are held by Panchkula with 93.72 per cent and Prayagraj with 92.55 per cent. A total of 92.32 per cent students passed the examination in Bhubaneswar followed by 91.86 per cent in Patna, 89.04 per cent in Dehradun, 80.97 per cent in Delhi and 74.49 per cent in Guwahati.
This year, a total of 92.45 per cent girls passed the examination while 90.14 per cent boys could clear the class 10th board exams. Last year, 88.67 girls and 85.32 per cent boys cleared the examination. An increase of 2.31 per cent registered in the passing percentage this year. Similarly, 94.74 per cent Transgender cleared the exam which were held at 4974 centres. A total of 23,200 students passed the examination in foreign schools with passing percentage of 98.75 per cent. This year a total of 16,04,428 students passed the Class 10th Board exam which were held from February 15 to April 4. UNI
