The innovative Android-based Learning App, which got widespread appreciation, was developed by AmritaCREATE, an educational technology initiative pioneered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. AmritaCREATE applies innovative digital solutions to provide accessible and affordable educational technologies for all. The free app allows personalized learning while engaging, culturally appropriate e-content linked to life skills.
There were eight semifinalists in which six were from US and two from Asia. The competition is to choose the best Learning App with a true potential to transform the lives of low-literate adults.
