The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened its student counselling online service from today. This is a welcome move which addresses exam related anxiety which every year peaks around March-April, during the Board exams.

The telephone counselling service will continue till April 13th. 91 Principals, many trained counsellors, psychologists and special educators will be providing the counselling.

For the counselling, students need to call 1800 11 8004 from anywhere in India between 8AM and 10PM till April 13th. This is the 9th year that CBSE is providing this service. Students may also seek counselling at counselling cecbse@gmail.com
