In the CAT (Common Admission Test) examination 2017, around 20 students received 100 percentile scores. This year two women candidates also found place among the top 20.

"While in CAT 2016 all the top 20 candidates were male and engineers, this year the top 20 list contains two female candidates and three non-engineers," said IIM Lucknow in an e-mail mentioned one the of characteristic of CAT 2017 result.

Sai Praneeth Reddy, from Andhra Pradesh is one of the top scorers in the 100 percentile.

Results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) that will enable candidates to take admission in India's top business schools including IIMs(Indian Institutue of Management). Some of other top management colleges also admitted students based on their CAT score.

The test that was held on November 26, 2017 was taken by 1,99,632 candidates, across 140 cities. CAT written exam score is only one of the two steps to secure admissions in a prestigious B-schools of India. The most important second step is the writing skills, group discussions and personal interviews.
