Mumbai, May 12 : The Rupee on Tuesday bounced back by 24 paise to close at 75.50 against the USD, on the selling of US Dollar by bankers and importers dealers at the forex market. The local unit that fell by 18 paise to 75.92 in opening trade, erased earlier losses and closed positive at 75.50 jumpings by 24 paise as compared to its previous close. High oscillation was seen as the domestic unit registered days high and low at 75.95 and 75.45 respectively.
The Rupee advanced today on the weak dollar against other world currencies amid a negative equity market, dealers added. (UNI)
