Share price of Tata Motors jumped 6 percent even after the company-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported a 12.1 percent decline in retail sales at 5,08,659 units for the financial year 2019-20.
The share price jumped 6.31 percent to Rs.81.70 with a price gain of Rs.4.85 per share. Share experts point our the boost in sale of RR Evoque is one of the reasons behind the up in share value. Sales of Jaguar IPACE (EV) also rose by 40 percent. The new vehicle from Tata stable, Land Rover Defender also started its sale from March quarter.
