IMF MD Georgieva ropes in Raghuram Rajan

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director K Georgieva on Friday named former RBI Gov Raghuram Rajan & 11 others to her external advisory group.

This group is to provide perspectives from around the globe on key developments & policy issues, including responses to the exceptional challenges the world now faces due to COVID19.

Raghuram Rajan is currently working as a professor at the University of Chicago in US. He was earlier the governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for three years until September 2016.
