Domestic equity market benchmarks Sensex and Nifty continue to be in red and are currently trading nearly another 5 per cent lower on Thursday.

The 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex tumbled 1600 points or 5.56 per cent to trade below the crucial 28,000-mark, while the broader benchmark index of the National Stock Exchange, Nifty 50, slipped below the psychological level of 8,100, to rule at 8026.

Barring Power Grid, all the 29 Sensex stocks were trading in deep sea of red with HCL Tech as the top loser, down over 13 per cent, followed by IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance.

Bharti infratel loses 14.78 percent to Rs.127.75, Bajaj Finance down by 13.50 percent Rs.2,648, Indusind Bank down by 12.29 percent Rs.404.15, Yes Bank tanks 13.73 percent Rs.52.15, ONGC loses 10.49 percent Rs.61.
