Mumbai, Nov 4: The Rupee on Monday rose marginally by four paise to 70.77 on renewed selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit surged by 17 paise to 70.65 in early trade. Later, it slipped from opening level, but ended positive only at 70.77, registering a marginal gain of four paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 70.79 and 70.55, respectively.
The Rupee rallied, owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies along with strong equity market, the dealer added. (UNI)
