Mumbai, Nov 1: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday gained by 67 points to 40,196.07 as renewed buying in Materials, FMCG, Finance, Health Care and IT stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too went up by 5 points to 11,886.60. The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 40,283.30 and 40,014.23 points respectively. The Nifty recorded day intraday high and low at 11,918.30 and 11,843.35 points respectively. The sectoral indices like Materials, FMCG, Finance, Health Care and IT stocks kept the market firm.
The gainers were IndusInd Bank by 4.41 pc to Rs 1369.35, Bajaj Finance by 2.01 pc to Rs 4106, Tech Mahindra by 1.32 pc to Rs 748.60, Tata Steel by 1.18 pc to Rs 385.
The losers were Yes Bank by 3.76 pc to Rs 67.80, TCS by 2.38 pc to Rs 2216.25, M & M by 1.97 pc to Rs 594.15 and Asian Paints by 1.38 pc to Rs 1785.85. UNI
