Mumbai, Oct 31 : The Rupee on Thursday eased by four paise to 70.92 against the US Dollar on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market.
The local unit that fell by 11 paise to 70.77, slightly improved during the day but ended negative at 70.92, sliding by four paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit slid further on firm Dollar against other world currencies. However robust equity market capped from further down, they added. The local unit recorded day high and low at 71.05 and 70.72 respectively. (UNI)
