Mumbai, Oct 9 : The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) on Wednesday jumped by 645.97 points to 38,177.95 snapping a losing streak of last six sessions, following gains in Banking, Realty, Auto, Power and Telecom stocks.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 186.90 points to 11,313.30. The Sensex registered day's high and low at 38,209.84 and 37,415.83 points respectively. The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 11,321.60 and 11,090.15 points respectively. (UNI)
