Mumbai, Oct 7 : The Rupee on Monday slipped further by thirteen paise to 71.01 on brisk demand for US Dollars by bankers and imxporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
In opening trade, the local unit eased by 7 paise to 70.95. Till the end of the day it dropped by 13 paise to 71.01 as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.10 and 70.94 respectively. The Rupee remained negative on strong Dollar against other world currencies along with sliding equity market, the dealer added.
The Forex Market will remain close on Tuesday for 'Dusshera' festival, dealers informed. (UNI)
