Mumbai, Sep 27 : The Rupee on Friday surged further by 32 paise to 70.56 on brisk selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit that fell by 7 paise to 70.95 in early trade bounced back and ended strong at 70.56, advancing by 32 as compared to its last close. The local unit recorded day high and low at 70.97 and 70.56 respectively.
The Indian currency shot up on weak Dollar against other world currencies however negative equity market capped from further rose, the dealer added. (UNI)
