Mumbai, Aug 29 : The BSE Sensex on Thursday slid further by 382.91 points to settle at 37,068.93 as brisk selling in Bankex, Auto, FMCG, Energy and Consumer Durable stocks.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too eased by 97.80 points to 10,948.30.
The sensex remained choppy as fears of an impending global recession and worsening US-China trade relations marred investor sentiment. The Sensex registered day high and low at 37,381.80 and 36,987.35 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded day high and low at 11,021.10 and 10,922.40 points respectively. (UNI)
