Mumbai, Aug 29 : The Rupee on Thursday declined by three paise to 71.80 against the greenback on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit slipped by 18 paise to 71.95 in early trade and ended at 71.80, declining by three paise as compared to its last close. The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 72.09 and 71.68 respectively.
Firm dollar and sliding equity market kept the Indian currency under pressure, they added. (UNI)
