Mumbai, Aug 22: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) remained under pressure for the third straight session on Thursday as it dropped by 587 points to settle at 36,472.92 as selling was seen across the board along with weak global cues.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too fell by 177.35 points to 10,741.35. The Sensex registered day high and low at 37,087.58 and 36,391.35 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded day high and low at 10,908.25 and 10,718.30 points respectively. (UNI)
